How To Use This Site
1) How do I search for a position on the Adoption & Child Welfare Jobsite? You may access information through keywords, job categories, or zip code searches, or any combination of these methods. Keywords If you include multiple keywords, try separating the keywords with a comma (","). For example, searching for "George Washington" (no comma) will find all matches of the full name "George Washington," whereas searching for "George, Washington" (comma) will find all matches of "George" and all matches of "Washington."
The option to specifically search job titles for keywords is available. Please note, however, that only searching job titles narrows your search by making results very specific.
Job Categories Select one category, or use “ctrl and click” to select multiple job categories. If you would like to search all job categories, click on ‘All’. Selecting “All” in the job category is a very general search that will return all the jobs that are active in our system.
Zip Code A search can be done solely by zip code. To get a more accurate search, select the radius of the zip code you are entering. For example, if you enter 43215 as the zip code, it pulls only those jobs with that exact zip code. If you select a 20 mile radius in addition to the 43215 zip code, the search encompasses a greater area and provides more accurate information.
Repeat Searches The option of going back to your previous search is available. Click on “Repeat Last Search”. » top of page
